Upholstery Cleaning and why I love it !
Today, I had the pleasure of professionally cleaning a sofa in Tonbridge, Kent, for just £59. After more than an hour of detailed work, the client was left with a sofa that looked as good as new! Here’s how I achieved those results:
First, I used an industrial vacuum cleaner to thoroughly hoover the sofa, removing a surprising amount of hidden dirt and debris (although I’m still waiting to find that elusive stash of coins!). Next, I carefully selected the appropriate cleaning solution for the sofa’s material and applied a pre-spray. Using a specialist drill and brush, I gently agitated the solution into the fibres, allowing it to dwell for about ten minutes. Finally, I used a steam extraction machine to lift away the solution and embedded grime, leaving the sofa fresh, clean, and ready to use in just one to two hours.
Upholstery cleaning is truly rewarding work that requires patience and attention to detail for the best results. A regular professional clean not only revitalises your furniture but also helps protect your investment—after all, many of us are still paying off our sofas! I know I certainly won’t be buying a new one anytime soon.
